About Us

From the start, the founders of Dr. Fischer believed that our business activities need to be intertwined with social responsibility to support children causes, education and art for a healthier, stronger and better community.  Throughout the years, we have actively contributed and demonstrated concern for the community, in addition to our employees and their families. In 2007, we established a fund in memory of Devorah Fischer, founder of the Corporation with Dr. Eli Fischer.

Through this fund we donate personal care products and money to various entities engaged in education, art, health and for the development of children and youth.
Dr. Fischer’s employees engage in volunteer work at a boarding school for children removed from their homes by social welfare and/or courts and take it upon themselves to celebrate the birthdays of these children in the boarding school. On birthdays a team of Dr. Fischer volunteers arrive at the boarding school to make a birthday celebration with songs, greetings, games, surprises, sweets and personalized birthday cake.
Dr. Fischer activities for the community:

Establishment of an art gallery – ZOA Gallery named after Devorah Fischer. The gallery focuses on art with a social context, displaying temporary exhibitions every two months. So far, the exhibitions were presented on the following: Peace Collection of Devorah and Dr. Eli Fischer, the Israeli industry, family, an exhibition of boarding school children causes, photograph exhibition of help centers for rape victims, an exhibition honoring the mentally ill, photographs of Israel, and Israel following the war.

To encourage both education and higher education – from the belief that education is the guarantee of success in life, we are trying to promote various educational projects, such as the granting of a scholarship to a student at Tel Aviv University Department of Chemistry for outstanding practical graduate work. The scholarship is named after the late Charlie Avital, who ran the factory production department at Dr. Fischer for many years.

Volunteer boarding school “Aviv” – Dr. Fischer’s employees embrace Aviv boarding school in Petach Tikva – home for children removed from their homes by social welfare and / or courts and take it upon themselves to celebrate the birthdays of the children inside. On birthdays a team of volunteers from Dr. Fischer arrive at Aviv and make a birthday celebration with songs, greetings, games, surprises, sweets and personalized birthday cake.

Contribution to the establishment of a picnic area accessible to the disabled – we donated by assistance to”Access Israel” a picnic area accessible to the disabled in the Beit Guvrin National Park. This area contains parking spaces for the handicapped, driveways and tables specially adapted for wheelchair owners and their families so that they too can enjoy spending time in nature.

Dr. Fischer personal care product contributions – to parents with newborn triplets, gifts for summer camps with special needs kids (Akim, IDF orphans, assistance centers for victims of sexual harassment, cancer, etc.), Bar / Bat Mitzvah gifts for children in boarding schools, gifts for the needy elderly and to the IDF soldiers and more.

As part of our collaboration with hospitals in the country and our contribution to the community we gave dozens of paintings to children’s wards in hospitals across the country, for example, Children’s Hospital “Dana”, Ichilov Hospital, Tel Hashomer Medical Center, Carmel Hospital in Haifa, Nahariya hospital. We focused on children’s drawings from around the world on the subject of peace (and peace each in his own country), we tried to be cheerful and optimistic with the paintings, to cheer up the hospitalized children and their families.
